Before Your Appointment

Pre-Piercing Guide

1.

Mental Prep

Feeling a little nervous? That’s totally normal. Our team is here to guide you through every step, answer your questions, and make sure you feel calm and confident before we begin.

2.

What to Bring

  • Valid ID (or passport/birth certificate if under 18)
  • A parent or legal guardian MUST be present if under 18. Please check our age policy below for more info
  • Your preferred payment method. Don’t forget that we have Pay Just Now and Pay Flex online and in-store too!
  • A list of any allergies (e.g., metal sensitivities, latex)

3.

What to Wear

  • Come comfy. Loose clothing is best, and if you’re getting an ear or facial piercing, tie your hair back.
  • Avoid makeup, creams, or perfumes near the piercing area.
  • If you’re feeling nervous, bring something (or someone) that helps you feel calm.

4.

Health & Safety Checklist

To keep your body happy and ready for a new piercing:
  1. Eat a proper meal beforehand (no empty stomachs).
  2. Drink water and stay hydrated.
  3. Skip alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinners 24 hours before.
  4. Let us know if you’re feeling unwell, on medication, or pregnant.
  5. Please note, for your own safety, we do not pierce pregnant women.

Have More Questions?

Just a (very NB) Heads Up

If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to come with you. They’ll need to bring their ID, and you’ll need to bring your birth certificate. Consent forms have to be signed in person.
If you’re 18 or older, don’t forget to bring your own valid ID.
